Bio's Sukita Reay Crimmel -Founder of From These Hands, LLC./ Earthen floor specialist Sukita graduated from the University of Oregon in 1999. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Architecture. Designing for passive heating, cooling and day lighting are some of the most valuable skills she came away with. While playing in the mud her passion for natural building was sparked. Working closely with Robert Bolman on the construction of a triplex at the budding Mitreya Eco Village, in Eugene Oreon, Sukita learned many aspects of wood frame construction. During this time she attended cob workshops with Ianto Evans and Linda Smiley at the Cob Cottage Company and became very involved with the natural building community at yearly colloquiums. Since 2002 Sukita has been in Portland working with schools, children, home owners, general contractors and the community to bring natural building into the urban environment. Sukita brings passion, attention, care and friendship to the projects she takes on. Jeremy Rosenbloom – Project Manager/Builder
