It is this process that gives us the rich soils that we live from. So simple and giving. As we pass towards the end of the year I reflect on what has come this year. It is rewarding for me to notice what we have done. I can get so caught up on what is still to be done. This year we got the first free standing Rumford style fireplace Claylin has come out to market! Claylin is a premixed earthen floor system that we have been working to develop over the past three years. We had a wonderful celebration at the cob Rumford to mark this special moment. Claylin is available currently through the From These Hands website or use the www.claylin.com address to get there. And again, we are very proud to have hired on our first project manager, Jeremy Rosenbloom. Jeremy continues to bring so much to the table. In November he will complete his Sustainable Building Advisor program. Jeremy has the passion, dedication and personality of a caring team player.
The first official Claylin workshop, three day intensive, is being offered this coming December 7-9th for $300. This training is the first step towards becoming a certified Claylin installer, or simply the step towards installing your own Claylin floor. What are you proud of from 2010?
